Danielle Smith to Headline Fundraiser in Brooks on February 9
Premier Danielle Smith will serve as the guest of honour at a fundraising dinner organized by the Southeast Alberta Chamber of Commerce on February 9, 2026, in Brooks. The event aims to foster regional dialogue on critical topics such as economic development, agriculture, and community sustainability.
The fundraising dinner will take place at the Heritage Inn Hotel and Convention Centre, where municipal leaders, agricultural producers, and regional partners are invited to participate. The evening will commence at 5:30 p.m. with doors opening for attendees, followed by dinner at 6 p.m. and the program featuring remarks from Premier Smith beginning at 7 p.m.
In addition to the discussions, the event will feature a silent auction. Proceeds from the fundraiser will support the Vet Med Scholarship Fund and initiatives under the Palliser Economic Partnership.
Tickets for the dinner are available through the Chamber of Commerce website. Priced at $125, the ticket includes a buffet dinner, dessert, coffee, and tea, as well as access to the evening’s program. Options for table seating include eight and ten-seat arrangements.
This gathering presents an opportunity for community members to engage with regional leaders and contribute to important local initiatives. The Southeast Alberta Chamber of Commerce encourages attendance to enhance collaboration around the future of the region.
