Victoria Police Seek Public Assistance to Locate William Tate

Victoria police have issued a call for public assistance in locating William Tate, an 82-year-old man who is currently the subject of a British Columbia-wide warrant stemming from a child pornography conviction. Tate is described as approximately six feet tall and weighing around 225 pounds. He has grey, balding hair and blue eyes. According to police, he may be attempting to evade capture by fleeing to the Interior regions of British Columbia in a grey 1997 Chevy Astro van bearing the licence plate EW7008.
