The Sooke Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing man who has not been seen for over three months. Investigators are focusing their efforts on the Victoria area, where they believe Albert Hopcraft may currently be located.

Albert Hopcraft, a 50-year-old Indigenous man, was last seen on September 27, 2025, in Sooke, British Columbia. His disappearance has raised concerns, prompting the police to issue a public appeal for information. According to investigators, Hopcraft may now be in the downtown core of Victoria.

Described as approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing around 150 pounds, Hopcraft is known to frequently wear baggy clothing or items with sports branding. The community’s involvement is crucial in helping to locate him, as police believe that someone may have seen him during the past few months.
