Authorities in Surrey, British Columbia, are appealing to the public to help locate a missing 76-year-old man, William Haworth. The Surrey Police Service and the RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit issued a statement requesting assistance after Haworth was last seen at approximately 12:30 p.m. on August 27, 2023, in the 16200-block of Glenwood Crescent in the Fraser Heights area.

Haworth has not been heard from since that time, raising concerns among both his family and the police. He is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing around 200 pounds, and bald. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a white baseball cap, a blue shirt, black shorts, and white sneakers.

Authorities are particularly concerned that he may appear confused or disoriented, which has prompted the urgent request for public assistance. They encourage anyone who may have seen Haworth or has information on his whereabouts to come forward.

How to Help Locate William Haworth

Individuals with any relevant information are urged to contact the Surrey Police Service at 604-599-0502 and quote file number 25-49157 (SU). The police are also asking that if a member of the public encounters Haworth, they should remain with him until help arrives.

As the search continues, both the police and Haworth’s family are hopeful that community involvement will lead to his safe return.
