Prince George RCMP Investigate Shooting Near Alpine Village Apartments

A significant police presence is currently observed near the Alpine Village apartments in Prince George, British Columbia, as the local RCMP investigates a possible shooting that occurred earlier today. At approximately 13:00 on October 31, 2025, authorities received a report indicating that a man was bleeding heavily in the 2100 block of Upland Street.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg. The injured individual was subsequently transported to the hospital by BC Emergency Health Services for treatment. Authorities have not disclosed the victim’s current condition.

Ongoing Investigation and Public Appeal

The investigation is being conducted with the assistance of the North District Emergency Response Team and Police Dog Services. As the police work to determine the exact location of the shooting and identify any suspects, they are appealing to the public for assistance.

“Police officers are currently seeking to identify where the shooting occurred and who the suspects may be,” stated Corporal Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP. She urged anyone in the vicinity who may have heard or seen anything suspicious to contact the non-emergency line at 250-561-3300.

Residents in the area can expect a continued police presence as officers gather more information related to the incident. The RCMP has emphasized the importance of community cooperation in solving this case.
