Monique Lebel Claims Victory in Toss Your Cookies Competition
On February 5, 2001, Monique Lebel emerged as the champion of the inaugural Toss Your Cookies competition held at Station Mall in Sault Ste. Marie. The event, part of the Ontario Winter Carnival Bon Soo, challenged participants to toss cookies into bowls of milk. Lebel’s skillful throws secured her a prize of $201 in mall gift certificates, marking a festive highlight of the winter celebration.
