The Canadian Western Agribition (CWA) concluded its 54th edition with a remarkable attendance record, drawing in 151,037 visitors. This impressive turnout marks the largest Agribition to date, solidifying its status as Saskatchewan’s premier annual event. The diverse program included the Maple Leaf Circuit Finals Rodeo, which featured three sold-out performances, with two nights selling out well in advance.

The event also experienced a significant influx of school-aged attendees through the Family Ag Pavilion, many of whom encountered the world of agriculture for the first time. Shaun Kindopp, CEO of Agribition, expressed gratitude to both first-time visitors and loyal supporters, who shared that the 2025 edition offered an exceptional experience for families. He emphasized the unique combination of livestock excellence, education, entertainment, and community spirit that the event embodies.

“First and foremost, I want to thank everyone who joined us this year,” Kindopp stated. “Without visitors and exhibitors experiencing the show for the first time, as well as long-time return visitors, we wouldn’t see numbers like this. To everyone who waited in line, bought a ticket, and made Agribition part of their week, your support is the reason this show continues to grow.”

Planning for the next edition is already underway, as Kindopp noted that the CWA team dedicates 51 weeks each year to prepare for the show. With a focus on creating another engaging and unique experience for 2026, the team aims to build upon this year’s success.

“Agribition is powered by more than 400 dedicated volunteers, along with both full-time and part-time staff who pour their heart into this event, along with the support of our sponsors and partners,” Kindopp added. “To see over 151,000 people walk through our doors this year is a remarkable achievement and a testament to the work of everyone involved.”

As the CWA reflects on this record-breaking year, the anticipation for the future of Agribition continues to grow, promising even more exciting developments and community engagement in the years to come.
