TECNO showcased a series of groundbreaking products at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026, revealing their latest innovations in mobile technology. The highlight of the event included the launch of the CAMON 50 Series and the POVA 8 Series, alongside a notable collaboration with Tonino Lamborghini. Attendees were particularly intrigued by a modular phone concept that promises customization and adaptability.

CAMON 50 Series: Advanced Imaging and Performance

The new CAMON 50 Series stands out as TECNO’s flagship camera phone lineup for the year. Both models, the CAMON 50 and CAMON 50 Pro, are powered by the MediaTek Helio G200 Ultimate chip, featuring 8GB of RAM and a 6.78-inch curved 1.5K AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz. Each phone is equipped with a robust 6,150mAh battery that supports 45W charging.

The Pro variant enhances photography capabilities with a triple rear camera system. This includes a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization, a 50MP 3x telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultrawide lens. TECNO has integrated advanced AI features, such as Super-Zoom FlashSnap for capturing fast-moving subjects and AI Auto Zoom for automatic framing. Additionally, an AI voice assistant named Ella is built into the system to improve user experience.

POVA 8 Series: Power and Performance Redefined

Another significant announcement was the introduction of the POVA CURVE 2 5G, the flagship model of the POVA 8 Series. This device features a remarkable 8,000mAh battery housed in a slim 7.42mm body, marking it as the largest battery ever included in the series. The POVA CURVE 2 operates on a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G chipset and boasts a 144Hz curved AMOLED display. It also holds an IP64 rating, providing resistance against dust and water. TECNO claims that the battery is designed to last for six years, catering to users’ demands for longevity.

In addition to these features, TECNO emphasized its commitment to innovation through a new collaboration with Tonino Lamborghini. This partnership has led to the creation of the Tonino Lamborghini TECNO TAURUS, also known as the MEGA MINI G1 Pro. This product is described as the world’s smallest water-cooling gaming mini-PC. A limited-edition POVA Metal phone featuring Tonino Lamborghini branding is also set to launch, with plans for additional products, including laptops, tablets, and wearables.

Innovative Modular Technology and AIoT Ecosystem

Among the standout concepts presented at MWC 2026 was TECNO’s modular phone design. This innovative approach allows users to attach components such as extended batteries and specialized camera lenses magnetically to the back of the device. This modular capability aims to provide users with the flexibility to tailor their device according to daily needs. While still a concept, TECNO’s recent advancements in camera technology indicate a serious intent behind this idea.

Alongside these mobile innovations, TECNO showcased its broader AIoT ecosystem, including the MEGABOOK laptops, the upcoming MEGAPAD tablet, and the Watch GT 1S. The company also presented AI Glasses and the TECNO True 2 and FreeHear 2 earphones. All devices are compatible with an updated version of the OneLeap platform, which facilitates seamless file transfers and screen sharing between devices.

TECNO’s presentations at MWC 2026 reflect the company’s dedication to pushing the boundaries of mobile technology. With impressive hardware, innovative partnerships, and a commitment to user-centric design, TECNO appears poised to make a significant impact in the tech landscape this year.
