The St. Charles Business Alliance has announced an extension of the application deadline for the annual Electric Christmas Parade, now set for November 12. This event invites participation from community groups, local businesses, and nonprofit organizations, aiming to foster a festive atmosphere in downtown St. Charles.
Entry forms for the parade can be accessed online at stcholidayhomecoming.com. To participate, applicants must provide a completed entry application, an insurance certificate that names both the St. Charles Business Alliance and the city of St. Charles as additional insureds, along with a signed copy of the parade rules and safety guidelines. These documents can be submitted via email to [email protected] or mailed directly to the St. Charles Business Alliance at 2 E. Main St., St. Charles.
Participation fees vary depending on the organization type: $50 for nonprofit entries, $300 for business entries, and $325 for political entries. The parade itself is scheduled to kick off at 17:30 on November 29, showcasing the community spirit of St. Charles.
The St. Charles Business Alliance aims to enhance economic growth by promoting St. Charles as a key destination for tourism and business. For further details, interested parties can contact the alliance at 630-443-3967 or visit their websites at stcholidayhomecoming.com or stcalliance.org.
