Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Launches Joker Content, Hits 1 Million Sales

SEGA has officially launched the eagerly awaited Joker content for its racing game, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. This new update is now available for free and introduces players to Joker, the charismatic leader of the Phantom Thieves from Persona 5. With his inclusion, players can race alongside Sonic and friends, utilizing Joker’s signature vehicle, the Arsène Wing, which adds a fresh dynamic to the gaming experience.
The update brings more than just a new character. Players will enjoy three new Joker-themed tracks added to the Jukebox: “Take Over,” “Wake Up, Get Up, Get Out There,” and “Victory.” Additionally, unique emotes and sound effects enhance the overall gameplay, creating a more immersive experience for fans of both franchises.
To celebrate Joker’s arrival, SEGA will host the Joker Festival from October 24 to October 27, 2023. During this limited-time event, players can earn Festival Points, which can be redeemed for exclusive rewards. The festival aims to unite both new and veteran players in the excitement of Joker-themed challenges, making it a festive occasion in the racing community.
With the addition of Joker, the game not only welcomes a new character but also enriches its roster with fresh music, vehicles, and interactive experiences. This crossover content emphasizes SEGA’s commitment to maintaining an exciting and engaging environment while celebrating the unique charm of its latest character addition. Racing fans can now experience the thrill of Joker’s personality and style on the tracks, making every race a lively and unforgettable event.
