Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Set to Increase Dimensions and Power

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is poised to be larger than its predecessor, the Galaxy S25 Ultra. According to renowned tipster Ice Universe, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will feature new dimensions that include a height of 163.4 mm and a width of 77.9 mm. In comparison, the Galaxy S25 Ultra measures 162.8 mm in height and 77.6 mm in width, indicating a slight increase in size.
Design Changes and Features
While the dimensions reveal only a modest change, the new model will also sport slightly more rounded corners compared to its predecessor. A recent dummy model of the Galaxy S26 Ultra showcased the back of the device, alongside the entire Galaxy S26 series. This model is expected to represent the most advanced iteration in the lineup.
In terms of performance, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will likely be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, known as Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 in certain regions. This version will reportedly be an overclocked variant, enhancing the device’s capabilities further. It is also possible that Samsung’s Exynos chipset will make an appearance in specific markets, although further details remain to be confirmed.
Camera and Software Specifications
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is anticipated to feature four rear cameras, a design that has become standard for the Ultra models. Specific details regarding the camera specifications have yet to be disclosed, and enthusiasts will need to wait for further announcements.
The smartphone will ship with Android 16 pre-installed, along with Samsung’s customized interface, One UI 8.0. It is expected to come equipped with 16 GB of RAM, providing ample capacity for multitasking and demanding applications. Multiple storage options are also likely to be available, catering to a variety of user preferences.
Scheduled for launch in early January 2026, the Galaxy S26 series will debut a year after the Galaxy S25 series. All three models in the Galaxy S26 lineup are expected to be unveiled simultaneously, setting the stage for an exciting entry into the smartphone market.
