REANIMAL Launches Nintendo Switch 2 Demo Ahead of Release
REANIMAL, an upcoming video game developed by Tarsier Studios and published by THQ Nordic, has released a demo for the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2. The demo is now available for download, allowing players to experience the game’s opening moments in advance of its official launch on February 13, 2026. The demo has already achieved over one million downloads, highlighting the significant excitement surrounding this title.
The demo introduces players to an unsettling narrative as they follow two orphaned siblings, The Boy and The Girl. Players must guide them through eerie environments such as the Mill and the Trainyard, all while uncovering the mystery behind their missing friends. Designed specifically for co-op gameplay, the experience emphasizes teamwork as the siblings navigate their dark and immersive world.
In response to the overwhelming interest, Oliver Merlöv, CEO of Tarsier Studios, expressed his enthusiasm: “I am really thrilled to have so many people playing the demo and hearing all the reactions so far! We pour a lot of heart and soul into the games we make, so to see all these people loving what we do is a great feeling for all of us! We are now gearing up for the release of REANIMAL on February 13th and after all this hard work, we can’t wait for people to get their hands on it!”
As anticipation builds for its full release, REANIMAL has been featured on several Most Anticipated Games of 2026 lists. Notable mentions come from respected outlets such as IGN, The Guardian, Rock Paper Shotgun, Screen Rant, Wccftech, GamingBible, The Sixth Axis, and ComicBook.com. This recognition further solidifies the game’s position as a standout among upcoming titles.
With its unique storyline, engaging gameplay mechanics, and the support of dedicated fans, REANIMAL is poised to make a significant impact upon its release.
