Porsche has officially introduced the 2026 Macan GTS, an electric SUV that showcases impressive performance capabilities with a dual-motor setup producing up to 563 horsepower. This new variant accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds, positioning itself as a standout in Porsche’s expanding electric vehicle lineup. The starting price in Canada is set at $122,100, and initial deliveries are expected in the summer of 2026.

The Macan GTS is designed for luxury and performance, featuring the most powerful Turbo-derived rear-axle electric motor within the Macan Electric range. Typically, the system generates 509 horsepower, but activating Launch Control boosts output to 563 horsepower and 704 lb-ft of torque. With a top speed electronically capped at 250 km/h, the vehicle can reach 200 km/h in approximately 13.3 seconds.

Powering the Macan GTS is a robust 100-kWh high-voltage battery, which supports DC fast-charging capabilities of up to 270 kW. Under optimal conditions, the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 21 minutes. This rapid charging is complemented by the standard inclusion of Porsche’s Sport Chrono Package, which introduces a new Track Mode. This mode enhances thermal battery management, allowing for sustained performance during prolonged driving.

Porsche has engineered the Macan GTS with a performance-tuned chassis, integrating features such as Porsche Traction Management and a rear-mounted electronically controlled differential lock. Standard equipment also includes Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus, which aids in handling and stability. The vehicle’s weight distribution is rear-biased at 48:52, and the sport air-suspension system lowers the ride height by 10 mm. Optional rear-axle steering further enhances maneuverability.

The Macan GTS also incorporates Porsche Electric Sport Sound, offering two sound profiles for “Sport” and “Sport Plus” driving modes. Visually, the vehicle adopts distinctive GTS styling with black trim elements, a prominent rear diffuser, and tinted Matrix LED headlights. A new Sport Design Package features updated front and rear aprons, exclusive side skirts, and black contrast inserts. Customers can choose from standard 21-inch Macan Design wheels or opt for 22-inch RS Spyder Design wheels.

In terms of colors, the exterior palette includes three new options: Carmine Red, Chalk, and Lugano Blue. While Chalk returns to the lineup, Lugano Blue makes its debut on the Macan. Additional customization is available through Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur’s Paint to Sample program, which offers nearly 60 unique paint choices.

Inside, the Macan GTS features an extended Race-Tex interior package complemented by smooth leather accents. Key areas such as the GT Sport steering wheel, dashboard, and armrests are covered in premium materials. The GTS Interior Package is designed with coordinated accent colors—Carmine Red, Slate Grey Neo, or Lugano Blue—that align with the exterior paint choice. This package also includes color-matched seat-belts, decorative stitching, GTS seat embroidery, and carbon-fibre trim.

The digital cockpit reflects the GTS theme with specific graphics in the instrument cluster and a 3D representation of the vehicle displayed on the central screen. The Sport Chrono Package also offers digital tools such as lap timers and telemetry tracking, enhancing the driving experience.

The 2026 Porsche Macan GTS is now available for order in Canada, with customer deliveries scheduled for mid-2026. As Porsche continues to innovate in the electric vehicle market, the Macan GTS stands out as a compelling option for performance enthusiasts and luxury SUV buyers alike.
