OnePlus 15 Set to Revolutionize Charging with 120W Capability

The upcoming OnePlus 15 smartphone is poised to enhance charging capabilities significantly, featuring support for an impressive 120W wired charging. This advancement was revealed following the device’s recent approval through TÜV certification. While the model number, OnePlus CPH2747, has not been officially confirmed as the OnePlus 15, industry insiders strongly believe it is.
The OnePlus 15 is expected to deliver a 20% improvement over the previous model, the OnePlus 13, which supports 100W charging and can fully recharge its 6,000mAh battery in approximately 35 minutes. It is important to note that charging speeds in the United States are capped at 80W, resulting in slower performance compared to other regions.
Enhanced Battery and Performance Features
In addition to faster charging, the OnePlus 15 may also boast a 7,000mAh battery, which could allow for similar charging times to its predecessor, particularly outside the United States. The phone is rumored to launch next month, further building anticipation among tech enthusiasts.
Beyond charging capabilities, the OnePlus 15 is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 SoC, potentially referred to as the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. This enhanced chipset will support up to 16GB of RAM and will be paired with a 6.78-inch OLED display that offers a remarkable 165Hz refresh rate. This combination of hardware is designed to deliver a smooth and responsive user experience.
On the camera front, early information suggests that the OnePlus 15 will include three 50-megapixel cameras on the rear, allowing for high-quality photography options. The device is expected to be available in several colors, including black, purple, and titanium.
As the March 2024 launch approaches, the OnePlus 15 promises to push the boundaries of smartphone charging technology, potentially setting new standards for speed and efficiency in the industry. With its powerful specifications and innovative features, it is likely to attract attention from consumers and tech experts alike.
