OnePlus 15 Revealed: New Design and Features Ahead of Launch
The first real-life image of the upcoming OnePlus 15 has surfaced, offering a glimpse of its design just weeks before its anticipated launch next month. Unlike previous concept images, this leak showcases the phone in all three color variants: Absolute Black, Mist Purple, and Dune, which translates to black, purple, and gray in simpler terms.
The newly leaked image reveals a significant redesign of the camera island, which now features a square layout reminiscent of the iPhone 17 Pro and other previous Apple models. This configuration includes two vertically-aligned cameras positioned in the top-left corner, with a third camera slightly offset between them. OnePlus has attempted to distinguish its design by incorporating a different backdrop behind the cameras, enhancing the overall aesthetic.
Design and Features
The OnePlus 15 appears to be constructed from metal and glass, likely with an aluminum frame. The device features rounded corners, and the buttons are positioned on the right side. Notably, a new ‘Quick Key’ will replace the alert slider found on the OnePlus 13. Although the front design remains unseen in this image, reports indicate that the phone will have a flat display with a centrally placed camera hole.
While this design leak must be taken with caution due to the source’s track record, it does provide valuable insights into the OnePlus 15’s potential aesthetic and functionality.
Reports suggest that the smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, alongside a substantial 7,000mAh battery. Additional specifications include a 6.78-inch 1.5K display featuring a high refresh rate of 165Hz. The device is expected to include ample RAM and other high-end components, making it competitive within the flagship smartphone market.
As the launch approaches, excitement builds among consumers eager to see how the OnePlus 15 will perform in a market increasingly dominated by premium devices.
