New Images Leak of Nubia’s Upcoming Foldable Phones
Leaked images have emerged, showcasing the design of Nubia’s forthcoming foldable smartphones, the Nubia Flip 3 and Nubia Fold. These devices are anticipated to make their debut in the competitive foldable market, with the Nubia Fold positioned to rival the popular Galaxy Z Fold 7. The latest batch of images provides a clearer view of the devices’ features ahead of their expected launch.
Design Insights from Recent Leaks
The images, shared by renowned tech leaker Evan Blass on X, reveal significant details about the Nubia Flip 3. The external display appears prominently in the leaked visuals, indicating that it can display the date, time, and weather. This secondary screen also seems capable of facilitating basic tasks, such as responding to messages, enhancing user convenience. The display features minimal black bezels, occupying the upper portion of the device’s back panel, which suggests a modern design focus.
Notably, the Nubia Flip 3 is equipped with two cameras embedded within the external display. The larger sensor is likely the main lens, while the purpose of the smaller camera remains unclear. Additionally, the volume rocker and power buttons are positioned on the right side of the device, maintaining a familiar layout for users.
The excitement builds around the Nubia Fold, the company’s first book-style foldable device. According to the leaked images, it can be seen in a half-folded, tent-like configuration. Although the display primarily shows wallpaper, it features minimal bezels that contribute to a sleek appearance. The right edge of the device houses both the volume rocker and a distinctive red-colored power/lock button.
Examining the back panel reveals a substantial horizontal camera module, which is designed to accommodate the main camera setup and an LED flash. Text within the camera layout indicates a “50MP OIS Lens AI Camera System,” suggesting advanced photographic capabilities. The overall design appears to be slim, aligning with current trends in foldable technology.
Expected Launch Timeline
While the exact launch date for the Nubia Flip 3 and Nubia Fold remains unconfirmed, speculation suggests a potential release in Q1 2026. This timeline aligns with the previous launch of the Nubia Flip 2, which debuted in January of this year. The anticipation surrounding these devices highlights Nubia’s commitment to innovation in the foldable smartphone sector.
As the launch approaches, further details are likely to surface, providing consumers with more insights into the performance and specifications of these exciting new devices. The growing interest in foldable technology indicates that Nubia is poised to make a significant impact in this evolving market.
