Lane Restrictions on E.C. Row Expressway to Begin Monday
Beginning Monday, significant lane restrictions will be implemented on the E.C. Row Expressway, impacting daily commuters. These disruptions are expected to last until October 17, 2023, as various construction activities take place along the route.
The construction work includes culvert and ditch realignments, the removal of outdated traffic signals, and the installation of new temporary signals at the intersection of Banwell Road and E.C. Row Expressway. Additionally, crews will be focused on widening shoulders with asphalt pavement, line painting, and undertaking bridge abutment and center pier work. These improvements are aimed at enhancing traffic flow and safety in the area.
Motorists are advised to plan their routes accordingly and expect delays in the affected regions. The construction activities are part of ongoing efforts to upgrade transportation infrastructure, ensuring that the road remains safe and efficient for all users. Authorities urge commuters to allow extra travel time during the construction period.
The E.C. Row Expressway serves as a vital artery for vehicle travel in the region, and these enhancements are anticipated to facilitate better traffic management once completed. Local officials are committed to minimizing disruptions and appreciate the public’s patience during this essential work.
