At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026, ESR introduced a line of innovative Qi2 wireless chargers designed to address the overheating issues associated with high-speed wireless charging. The new chargers aim to provide faster power delivery while ensuring device safety and efficiency.

Innovative Design and Technology

Among the standout products showcased was the ESR MagSlim Power Bank, which features a capacity of 10,000 mAh and supports 25W Qi2 wireless charging. Notably, it measures just 13.8 mm in thickness, positioning it as one of the slimmest power banks available that meets the new charging standard. To tackle the heat generated by rapid charging, ESR has incorporated active cooling technology, which helps maintain optimal charging speeds without compromising the phone’s battery health. This enhancement is crucial, as the 25W wireless charging method produces significantly more heat than older, slower techniques.

ESR’s CryoBoost cooling technology is a hallmark of several products unveiled at the event. For instance, the CryoBoost Foldable 3-in-1 Magnetic Charging Station is designed for travel, capable of charging a smartphone, smartwatch, and earbuds simultaneously. When not in use, it can collapse to a compact 15.8 mm, addressing the common issue of bulky chargers that are challenging to transport.

Versatile Charging Solutions

For more stationary setups, the CryoBoost 3-in-1 Magnetic Charging Station is geared towards home or office use. It includes a detachable USB-C watch charger, providing flexibility for users. Additionally, it features a “Sleep Mode,” which allows users to turn off the internal cooling fan and indicator lights during the night, ensuring a quiet and dark charging experience.

The OmniLock Magnetic Car Charger extends the benefits of CryoBoost technology to mobile use. This charger includes an adjustable arm and a 360-degree rotating head to keep the smartphone away from the vehicle’s air vents. This design prevents the vehicle’s heating system from further increasing the temperature of the phone, which is particularly important when using GPS and rapid charging simultaneously. It also features reinforced clamps and shock-absorbing pads to ensure stability on uneven roads.

While specific pricing and shipping dates for these new products have yet to be announced, consumers are eager for more information. ESR is expected to release further details soon, allowing users to take advantage of these advanced charging solutions.

The introduction of these new wireless chargers highlights the ongoing advancements in charging technology, with a clear focus on enhancing user experience while addressing common concerns such as overheating. As the demand for faster and more efficient charging options continues to grow, innovations like those from ESR are set to play a significant role in shaping the future of wireless technology.
