Ale Abbey Launches Version 1.0 on Steam with New Features

Ale Abbey has officially launched its full version 1.0 on Steam, marking a significant milestone for the medieval brewery tycoon game developed by Hammer & Ravens and Shiro Unlimited. This release follows a successful Early Access phase and introduces a comprehensive suite of new features, expanded content, and improved gameplay, enhancing the overall brewing experience for players.
In this latest version, users can explore an array of new events and recipes designed to enrich their brewing journey. Key additions include additional tasks from the Bishop, new markets to discover, and eight unique ale styles to master. Players will also find new rooms and furnishings to enhance their abbey, while the Capital district presents an opportunity to attract discerning customers with wealth to spend, challenging players to hone their brewing skills and business strategies.
Managing a successful abbey entails a delicate balance of faith and discipline. Monks can now delve into new recipes within the Library or relax in the newly constructed Contemplarium. Additionally, tools such as Frescos, Cellar dehumidifiers, and precise research nodes assist in maintaining quality control of the brews. For those seeking accolades, the Competition League allows players to showcase their premium ales, with opportunities to win prizes and unlock special items.
Emiliano Pastorelli, Game Director at Hammer & Ravens, emphasized the game’s evolution, stating, “Strive for true ale-ightenment in the refined brewing experience arriving in our 1.0 launch today.” He acknowledged the critical role players have played in providing feedback throughout the Early Access phase, expressing excitement about making Ale Abbey accessible to a broader audience of aspiring brewmasters.
The launch not only focuses on expansion but also on refinement. Players must master brewing techniques and make strategic market decisions, as each choice significantly impacts the monastery’s success. Available on PC, Ale Abbey is priced at $9.74, €9.74, and £8.30, with a special launch discount of 35% available until October 6, 2025. The game supports multiple languages, including English, Spanish, French, Italian, Chinese, German, and Russian, making it accessible to a wide international audience.
With version 1.0, Ale Abbey promises an engaging and immersive experience for players, blending the art of brewing with strategic management in a charming medieval setting.
