Win Big and Support Children with Canuck Place’s Fall Raffle
Canuck Place Children’s Hospice has launched its highly anticipated Fall 50/50 and Prize Draw in British Columbia and the Yukon, promising exciting prizes while supporting vital care for children and their families. Tickets are now available for purchase, with proceeds directly benefiting the only pediatric palliative care provider in the region.
This year, the Fall 50/50 jackpot is estimated at an impressive $500,000, with the lucky winner receiving half of the total amount. The stakes are higher than ever, and the prizes are equally enticing.
Exciting Prizes Await
Among the standout offerings, the first prize includes a winter getaway to Revelstoke Mountain Resort, valued at $4,450. This package, generously donated by the resort, features a two-night stay in a two-bedroom suite, four two-day mountain passes, rental equipment, and a $500 gift card for dining at exclusive resort restaurants.
The second prize, the Love Where You Live package, totals $4,253.76. It includes $1,000 to King Living, a Mint Cleaning package, a 65-inch Samsung The Frame TV, a $250 gift card to Homesense, $250 for Rona, a Fable Pink Carafe, and a Dyson v11 Cordless Vacuum.
The third prize offers a delightful two-night stay at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler, which includes breakfast for two days, parking, and resort fee coverage, alongside a $200 food and beverage credit, $345 for the Scandinave Spa, $100 to Tacofino, and $200 to Alta Bistro.
Additionally, there are two Early Bird draws for those who purchase tickets early. The first deadline is on September 3, 2023, providing a chance to win a $250 gift card to Best Buy Canada, an iPad Bundle that includes an 11-inch iPad and JBL wireless headphones, or $1,000 in cash. The second Early Bird prize deadline falls on September 17, 2023, with potential prizes including an iPhone 15 Pro, Apple AirPods, or another $1,000 cash reward.
Supporting Families in Need
Every ticket purchased contributes to Canuck Place’s essential programs, which currently support over 946 children facing life-threatening illnesses. The funds raised will help provide comprehensive care, enabling families to create lasting memories during challenging times.
Children typically remain in the program for an average of six years, while their siblings and parents may continue to receive bereavement support for an additional three years. Services offered include pain and symptom management, medical respite care, a 24-hour Clinical Care Line, recreational and music therapies, grief and bereavement counselling, and end-of-life care, all provided at no cost to families.
Canuck Place also offers flexibility in care options, allowing families to choose how and where they receive services—whether in the hospital, at home, or virtually—alongside two hospice locations in Vancouver and Abbotsford.
With an opportunity to win remarkable prizes while supporting a worthy cause, potential participants are encouraged to purchase tickets for the Canuck Place Fall 50/50 and Prize Draw now. For a complete list of prizes, please visit the Canuck Place Fall Raffle website.
