Vancouver Hosts ‘World’s Largest Bounce House’ for Nine Days

A temporary fun park known as the “World’s Largest Bounce House” has arrived in Vancouver, open from August 22 to 31, 2023. Organized by Big Bounce Canada and produced by XL Event Lab, this vibrant attraction is located at Concord Pacific Place, featuring a range of giant inflatable experiences that promise entertainment for all ages.
The event showcases eight air-filled attractions, with some inflatables reaching heights of up to 32 feet. Guests can enjoy a variety of activities, including slides, ball pits, climbing towers, and basketball hoops. Each session is timed and tailored for different age groups, ensuring that everyone—from toddlers to adults—can participate safely.
Green turf has been laid down across the concrete area adjacent to BC Place Stadium, creating a festive atmosphere. The event is enhanced by DJ music, live announcers for races, and several amenities, including lockers, food trucks, and water-fill stations. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own drinks to avoid long wait times at the refill stations.
During a recent session, participants were seen enjoying the playful environment, although some challenges emerged. An on-site medic tended to guests with minor injuries, such as sore ankles and bruises, resulting from the close quarters of the inflatables. One crew member noted that the last session of the night was shortened by 40 minutes due to “technical difficulties,” leading to the early unplugging of some inflatables.
This event is positioned as an excellent opportunity for families to engage in outdoor activities before the school season begins. Tickets for the various sessions start at $39, with options available for toddlers, juniors, bigger kids, and adults. While children bounce and play, parents can relax and enjoy scenic views of False Creek.
As the summer concludes, the “World’s Largest Bounce House” offers a lively escape for those looking to create lasting memories while enjoying the thrills of giant inflatables.
