Cranbrook Chamber Launches Board Training Bootcamp for Non-Profits
The Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce is set to host a comprehensive Board Training Bootcamp on April 1, 2024, aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of non-profit organizations. This full-day event will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the St. Eugene Golf Resort and Casino, providing an opportunity for non-profit board members and leaders to gain essential skills.
Non-profit boards play a crucial role in community impact, relying on the commitment of dedicated volunteers. However, enthusiasm alone does not guarantee success. The training will cover foundational governance principles in the morning session, transitioning to practical leadership skills in the afternoon. Participants can expect to leave with increased clarity, confidence, and actionable strategies to implement in their organizations.
This bootcamp is designed for a diverse audience. It welcomes both new and experienced non-profit board members, including board chairs, committee leads, executive directors, and emerging leaders within the sector. Importantly, no prior governance experience is required to participate, making it accessible for all interested individuals.
The event also includes lunch, allowing attendees to network and discuss insights with peers in the non-profit community. The Cranbrook Chamber emphasizes the importance of turning commitment into measurable results, and this training aims to facilitate that transformation.
