Quesnel Welcomes First Baby of 2026: Meet Baby Ezren
Quesnel has celebrated the arrival of its first baby of the year 2026. Northern Health confirmed that Baby Ezren was born at G.R. Baker Memorial Hospital at 5:47 a.m. on January 1. The newborn, weighing six pounds and three ounces, is the first addition to the community this year.
Ezren’s parents, Kendra and Reighven, are residents of Quesnel. The couple expressed joy and excitement upon welcoming their son into the world, marking a new chapter in their lives.
Northern Health’s announcement came just after 11 a.m. on the same day, highlighting the significance of this event for the local community. The birth of the first baby of the year is a tradition that many communities celebrate, symbolizing hope and new beginnings.
