Ottawa Police Search for Missing 67-Year-Old Man

The Ottawa police are actively searching for Eugene Ugwu, a 67-year-old man who has been missing since the morning of March 17, 2024. Ugwu was last seen leaving his home on the 200 block of Stone Quarry Private at approximately 7:30 a.m. There are rising concerns regarding his health and overall well-being.

Ugwu is described as a Black male, standing about six feet tall, with a bald head and brown eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing black shorts, a light green polo shirt, a grey sweater, and black open-toed slippers.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about Ugwu’s whereabouts to contact the East District staff sergeant at 613-236-1222, extension 3212. Public assistance is crucial as the search for Ugwu continues.

The police are committed to locating him safely and are encouraging community members to remain vigilant. Updates on the situation will be provided as they become available.
