Dr. Ahmed Eldib Joins Morris Hospital Orthopedics in Ottawa
Dr. Ahmed Eldib has begun seeing patients at Morris Hospital Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Ottawa as of early August 2023. His arrival introduces advanced surgical expertise in hip and knee procedures to the local community.
Dr. Eldib is fellowship-trained in adult orthopedic reconstruction, focusing on conditions affecting the hip and knee. At Morris Hospital, he utilizes cutting-edge techniques such as anterior hip replacements and Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted Surgery for procedures including total hip, total knee, and partial knee replacements. These innovative approaches position the hospital as a provider of state-of-the-art orthopedic care.
Originally from New York, Dr. Eldib earned his medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical School in Brooklyn. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at SUNY and further refined his skills during an adult reconstruction fellowship at NorthShore University HealthSystem in Skokie, Illinois.
Since joining Morris Hospital in 2023, Dr. Eldib has been actively performing surgeries at both Morris Hospital and the Deerpath Ambulatory Surgery Center. His surgical repertoire includes total knee replacements, total hip replacements, partial knee replacements, as well as revisions of these procedures. Notably, he also specializes in lower extremity orthopedic trauma care.
The Ottawa office of Morris Hospital Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is home to a diverse team of specialists. Alongside Dr. Eldib, patients have access to Dr. Mir Ali, an orthopedic spine surgeon, and Dr. Kyle Pearson, a foot and ankle surgeon. The practice extends its services through multiple locations, including offices in Morris, Joliet, and Diamond-Coal City, with a comprehensive team that includes orthopedic surgeons Dr. Raymond Meyer, Dr. Keith Rezin, Dr. Stephen Treacy, and Dr. Robert Williams.
