The task force responsible for establishing the new Brantford-Brant hospital has launched an initiative to identify a suitable location for the facility. On Tuesday, the independent task force leading the site identification process for the Brant Community Healthcare System issued a formal Call for Land. This initiative invites landowners in the Brantford and Brant County area to submit proposals for potential sites to host the future medical establishment.

Don Shilton, chair of the site identification task force, expressed optimism about the search for a location. “The community has helped us define what matters most, and now we’re ready to find the site that will serve our region for generations to come,” Shilton stated in a press release. He emphasized the importance of community input in shaping the vision for the new hospital and assured residents that the task force is committed to finding a prime location.

Landowners interested in participating in the submission process can access detailed information through the Brant Community Healthcare System’s Biddingo portal. Proposals must be submitted by February 10, 2026
