Sault Ste. Marie Library Launches Crochet Course for All Skill Levels
The Sault Ste. Marie North Branch Library is set to offer a four-week crochet course designed to engage residents in creative crafting. The program, titled Crochet with Lesley, will run from February 2 to March 2, 2024, with classes scheduled every Monday from 13:00 to 16:00. This initiative aims to introduce participants to the basics of crochet in a welcoming and supportive environment.
The course is ideal for beginners and those seeking to brush up on their skills. Participants will learn essential crochet techniques while working alongside fellow enthusiasts. The library encourages early registration due to limited space, ensuring all interested individuals have the opportunity to join.
To register, individuals can contact the library directly at 705-759-5248. Each participant is requested to bring either a 4.5 mm or 5 mm crochet hook, while yarn will be provided during each session. This hands-on course not only offers a chance to learn a new skill but also fosters a sense of community among local residents.
As the library continues to serve as a hub for creativity and learning, programs like this offer residents a unique opportunity to explore their crafty side.
