The weekend features activities ranging from the much-anticipated Labour Day Classic football game to vibrant cultural festivals, ensuring there is something for everyone in the Queen City.
Fan Engagement at Rider Fan Day
On Saturday, August 30, the Saskatchewan Roughriders are hosting their annual Rider Fan Day at Mosaic Stadium. Fans will have the opportunity to meet their favorite players and participate in various activities. Gates open at 10:00 a.m., with a walk-through starting at 10:30 a.m. The field will welcome the public around 11:30 a.m. and will feature a family fun zone, appearances by Gainer the Gopher, the Rider pep band, and the Rider cheer team.
Fans can look forward to a one-hour autograph session with players and coaches, contingent upon their availability. Although the primary activities conclude at 14:00, a RiderFit fitness class hosted by GoodLife Fitness is scheduled from 16:00 to 17:00.
Cultural Celebrations and Markets
For those seeking a different kind of entertainment, the Summer’s End Outdoor Market is taking place on Saturday from 10:00 to 17:00.
