Oglesby Public Library Launches Annual Book Sale Event

The Oglesby Public Library District is set to host its annual book sale from October 18 to October 25, 2023. This popular event invites community members to explore a diverse range of items, including books, DVDs, puzzles, and comic books, all available for purchase.
Visitors can enjoy browsing through the collection during the library’s operating hours. All transactions will be cash only, ensuring a straightforward shopping experience. Proceeds from the sale will directly benefit library operations and services, reinforcing the vital role the library plays in the community.
Support and Donations Welcome
The Oglesby Public Library continues to welcome donations of books and other materials, expressing gratitude for the ongoing support from the community. Such contributions help to enrich the library’s offerings and provide valuable resources for patrons.
The library’s current hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The library is conveniently located at 111 S. Woodland Ave., Oglesby.
This annual book sale not only promotes literacy and learning but also strengthens community bonds, making it a highly anticipated event for local residents.
