Lee County Launches Project Pool to Engage Youth in 4-H Programs
Lee County is set to host an event designed to introduce young individuals to the enriching world of 4-H programs. Scheduled for March 28, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Lee County Fairgrounds, Project Pool aims to engage youths aged 5 to 18 through a variety of hands-on learning experiences.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore multiple topics, selecting one per time slot. Topics include embroidery, animal care for cats and goats, as well as insights into alpacas, plants, and soils, among others. This diverse selection allows young attendees to discover their interests and develop new skills in a supportive environment.
