The Putnam County Public Library District is set to host a winter-themed program titled “Frosty Friends: Art and Storytime” on Saturday at 10 a.m. at its Granville branch. This engaging event is designed for children aged 3 to 10 and will feature storytelling alongside creative activities.

Participants will enjoy tales that celebrate the winter season while also creating their own snowman art using scratch-art materials. The program aims to inspire creativity and foster a love for reading among young attendees, providing a fun and interactive experience.

In addition to the art activities, staff from Child Care Connection will be present to assist parents with applications for the Child Care Assistance Program. They will also provide information about available resources, making this event not only entertaining for children but also informative for families.

The Granville branch of the library is located at 214 S. McCoy St.. For those interested in more details about the event, the library can be reached at 815-339-2038. This program represents a valuable opportunity for community engagement and support, enriching the lives of both children and their families during the winter season.
