White Rock RCMP Pursues Leads in Fatal Hit-and-Run Incident

A fatal hit-and-run incident occurred on December 23, 2023, in White Rock, British Columbia, prompting an active investigation by the White Rock Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). At approximately 12:41 p.m., authorities responded to reports of an injured person on the road in the 15600-block of Cliff Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers found a bystander performing CPR on the victim. Despite these immediate lifesaving efforts, the individual was pronounced dead at the scene, as confirmed by a statement from the RCMP. Initial observations indicated that the deceased had been struck by a vehicle.

The Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service has been called in to assist with the investigation and to process the scene effectively. The White Rock RCMP’s General Investigation Section is actively working to identify the driver involved in this tragic incident.
