Sparks Overcome Storm with Late Surge for 91-85 Victory

The Los Angeles Sparks mounted a thrilling comeback to defeat the Seattle Storm 91-85 on March 25, 2024. The Sparks secured the victory with a strong performance in the closing minutes, rallying from a five-point deficit to pull closer in the playoff race.

Dearica Hamby led the Sparks with an impressive 27 points and 11 rebounds. Rickea Jackson contributed significantly with 23 points, while Kelsey Plum and Rae Burrell added 14 and 11 points, respectively. They managed to extend their lead to 53-39 by halftime, thanks to a late three-pointer from Erica Wheeler.

The Sparks responded vigorously in the third quarter, shooting 12 for 17. Jackson’s buzzer-beater three-pointer cut Seattle’s lead to 73-68 heading into the final period, setting the stage for an intense finish.
