OPP Seeks Public Help to Locate Parole Violator in New Hamburg
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are urging the public to assist in locating a man who is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for breaching parole. The individual, 51-year-old Jeffrey Caldwell, has a history of drug and weapons-related offences and is known to frequent the areas of New Hamburg, Ottawa, and Hamilton.
Caldwell, who stands approximately 6 feet tall and weighs 235 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes. He is also identifiable by a tattoo of a Celtic-style sun on his upper-left arm. Currently, Caldwell is serving a sentence of nearly two years for several charges, including possession of various substances with the intent to traffic, possession of a firearm and ammunition, possession of a restricted weapon, and obstructing a peace officer, among others.
Authorities encourage anyone with information regarding Caldwell’s whereabouts to contact the Provincial ROPE Squad at 416-808-5900 or reach out to CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477. The OPP are keen to ensure public safety and are relying on community support to help locate this individual.
As the investigation continues, law enforcement remains committed to maintaining public safety and enforcing the law efficiently.
