Motorola Launches Moto G67 and G77 with AMOLED Displays
Motorola has unveiled its latest budget-friendly smartphones, the Moto G67 and Moto G77, featuring AMOLED displays and military-grade durability. The announcement, which occurred via a press release, marks a continuation of the company’s commitment to enhancing the mid-tier smartphone market. Both models are equipped with several impressive specifications that set them apart from their predecessors.
Design and Durability Features
The Moto G67 and G77 showcase a sleek design, available in various Pantone colors including PANTONE Shaded Spruce, PANTONE Black Olive, PANTONE Arctic Seal, and PANTONE Nile. Both models feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. The devices are designed with a flat front and a centered camera hole, providing a modern aesthetic. Their backplates are made of vegan leather, enhancing grip while adding a touch of sophistication.
Motorola emphasizes the durability of these devices, which are IP64 and MIL-STD-810H certified. This military-grade protection ensures that both smartphones can withstand various environmental challenges, making them suitable for users with active lifestyles.
Specifications and Performance
Both the Moto G67 and G77 are powered by robust batteries, featuring a 5,200 mAh capacity that supports 30W wired charging. While the Moto G77 offers a more advanced camera setup, the G67 is equipped with sufficient capabilities for everyday use. The Moto G77 boasts a 108-megapixel main camera with an f/1.7 aperture, alongside an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera. The Moto G67 includes the same ultrawide camera but is supported by a less powerful main camera.
In terms of processing power, the Moto G67 runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip, while the G77 features the upgraded Dimensity 6400 processor. Users can expect enhanced multitasking capabilities with the G77’s 8GB of RAM, compared to the G67’s 4GB of RAM. Both devices allow for virtual RAM expansion, adding further flexibility for users.
Both smartphones come pre-installed with Android 16, ensuring that users have access to the latest features and security updates.
Motorola has started rolling out the Moto G67 and G77 in select markets across the EMEA region, with pricing varying based on location. As the company positions these devices within the mid-tier segment, they represent a significant step forward in balancing affordability with advanced features.
