Rochelle Community Hospital has officially closed the Second Street entrance to its Health & Wellness Center as part of a major facilities improvement initiative. The closure, implemented on October 1, marks a significant step in the hospital’s multi-year project aimed at enhancing services for the community.

The renovation process began in September, with an expansion of the Health & Wellness Building located on the south side of the hospital campus. One of the initial updates involved relocating the Health & Wellness entrance to be adjacent to the emergency exit on Third Street. This change was completed on September 26.

As construction continues, all patients and visitors are now required to access the Health & Wellness Center, Family Healthcare Clinic, and Multi-Specialty Clinic through the newly established Third Street entrance. The hospital stated in a recent news release, “This renovation reflects RCH’s commitment to reinvesting in services for our community.”
