Rideau LRT Station Closed Following Fatal Cardiac Arrest Incident

The Rideau LRT Station in Ottawa was closed on the evening of March 25, 2024, after a man suffered a fatal cardiac arrest. The incident occurred at approximately 15:25 local time while the individual was on an escalator at or near the station. Despite prompt resuscitation efforts by Ottawa paramedics, the man was declared dead at the scene.
