The initiative, called the Stride Forward Fund, will distribute a total of $200,000 to various community organizations, non-profits, and initiatives. This funding opportunity is set to open for applications from September 1, 2023, to October 3, 2023.
The Stride Forward Fund is designed to ensure accessibility for eligible groups across several specific areas: Portage la Prairie, Neepawa, Gladstone, MacGregor, and Austin. The allocation of funds is as follows: up to $70,000 for Portage la Prairie, $60,000 for Neepawa, $30,000 for Gladstone, and $20,000 each for MacGregor and Austin.

The credit union emphasized its commitment to community engagement and growth, stating that the Stride Forward Fund will play a crucial role in fostering local initiatives that enhance the quality of life for residents.
