Raging Bill Launches on Steam and Epic Games Store This Fall

Artpunk Studio has announced that its highly anticipated game, Raging Bill, will be available on PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store this fall. Developed by French creator Jérôme Tissot, who is also known as the electronic music DJ Muttonheads, the game promises a unique blend of absurd humor and retro aesthetics, combined with innovative technology.
In Raging Bill, players will assume the role of Bill, a retired MMA champion turned eccentric billionaire. Bill’s tranquil existence on a private island is abruptly disrupted by a series of chaotic events. Within a single afternoon, his beach is overrun by partygoers, a UFO crashes in the jungle, zombies emerge from the ground, a dragon flies overhead, a bizarre virus spreads, and the weather turns unpredictable. Bill’s response to this pandemonium involves his signature over-the-top fighting style, an array of ridiculous gadgets, and an abundance of attitude.
Gameplay and Features
The game draws inspiration from cult classics such as Duke Nukem, Goat Simulator, and Only Up, offering an open-world experience that seamlessly combines melee and ranged combat, platforming, high-speed races, boss battles, puzzles, and sandbox freedom. Players can navigate the vibrant world using jetpacks, crush enemies with hoverboards, or engage in bare-knuckle brawls with zombies.
Developed using Unreal Engine 5, Raging Bill leverages advanced technologies such as Nanite, Lumen, and Chaos physics to create an expansive 5 km² playground. This environment features verticality, hidden secrets, diverse biomes ranging from deserts to snowy peaks, and numerous references to 1980s and 1990s pop culture.
As the release window approaches this fall, Artpunk Studio is generating excitement with promises of mayhem and high-octane action. Fans of chaotic gameplay can look forward to experiencing the unpredictable physics and engaging challenges that Raging Bill has to offer later this year.
