Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage Launches on Steam Early Access Today
Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage has officially launched on Steam Early Access today, offering enthusiasts of roguelike deckbuilders a new adventure to explore. The game is set to release on the Epic Games Store and mobile platforms later in December 2023 or early next year, ensuring a wider audience can join in on the excitement.
Players can embark on their journey at an introductory price of 14.99 USD, with a 20% discount available during the first two weeks of the launch. It’s important to note that regional pricing may vary, making it accessible to a broader range of players.
Expansive Content and Features Await Players
The Early Access version boasts an extensive array of content, including a collection of 250 cards and 90 relics that players can experiment with to enhance their gameplay experience. Additionally, the game offers a selection of three heroes across seven classes, allowing for diverse strategies and playstyles. Players will also benefit from four unique companions, each contributing their own cards to the gameplay.
To further personalize their heroes, players can choose from over 100 pieces of equipment and 12 companion skins. The first playable region, known as Pirates Bay, invites players to navigate between islands, uncover hidden secrets, and face off against nine formidable sea masters, alongside encountering various creatures.
The Arena is another exciting feature, providing players with challenging encounters and an opportunity to earn prestige as they progress through the game.
New Features Enhance Gameplay Experience
Continuing the spirit of its predecessor, Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage introduces enhanced gameplay mechanics. Players will collect and fuse cards, gather relics, and refine their strategies as they advance. Each playthrough offers a unique experience shaped by player choices, available cards, and the risks encountered along the way.
The adventure begins in the vibrant locale of New Elysia, where players select their character, choose a class ability, and prepare their starting deck before setting off. Each class comes equipped with a distinct ability card and a pre-made deck, creating a solid foundation for players to build upon.
A notable new feature introduces animal companions, which allow players to integrate their unique cards into their initial strategy. The various combinations of heroes, classes, and companions promise numerous pathways for players to discover, enhancing replayability.
With its engaging content and innovative mechanics, Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage aims to captivate both new and returning players in the deckbuilding genre. The combination of strategy, adventure, and exploration ensures an exciting experience for fans eager to set sail on this new journey.
