MOVA Unveils Innovative 60V Cordless Garden Tools at CES 2026
MOVA has introduced its latest lineup of outdoor tools at CES 2026, featuring the 60V Intelligent Cordless Garden Tool series. This new range is designed around a unified 60V EnerMax battery, allowing users to interchange the battery seamlessly across various tools. The innovative system leverages a smart software platform that manages essential functions such as power distribution, sensor integration, and connectivity.
The series comprises five distinct tools: a self-propelled lawn mower, a leaf blower (model GB628), a grass trimmer (model GT616TC), a chainsaw (model GC618), and a hedge trimmer (model GH625). Each tool operates on the same battery, which can be recharged in approximately 30 minutes, significantly reducing downtime for users. This design eliminates the need for multiple battery packs, enhancing user efficiency.
The functionality of each tool varies based on its specific requirements. MOVA has incorporated embedded sensors and adaptive control technologies, allowing the system to adjust its performance according to changing environmental conditions. This means the tools will not operate at full power constantly, optimizing energy use.
Performance Features and Design Innovations
The PaceMate self-propel system featured in the GL620 lawn mower adjusts to match the user’s walking speed, offering a comfortable mowing experience. Its versatile 3-in-1 deck provides options for mulching, bagging, or side discharge, catering to different gardening needs.
The GB628 leaf blower boasts an impressive airflow capability, pushing up to 100 CFM and reaching speeds of 200 mph thanks to the TurboJetX airflow system. It employs anti-static technology, making it highly effective for clearing a variety of debris, including light dry materials and even snow during winter months.
Equipped with a centrally mounted motor, the GT616TC grass trimmer offers a balanced weight distribution, enhancing maneuverability. It features a 16-inch dual-line cutting width and a telescopic shaft. With an IPX4 weather resistance rating and a washable head, maintenance is made more accessible for users.
The GC618 chainsaw pairs an 18-inch bar with a chain speed of up to 26 m/s, supported by an Adaptive OilPulse system that adjusts lubrication based on operational load. The GH625 hedge trimmer features a 25-inch dual-action blade, angle sensing, and a rotatable handle for precision in shaping and vertical cuts.
Connectivity and Future Developments
All tools in the series connect to MOVA’s smart network, providing users with diagnostics and live data through MOVA’s companion app. The company has also committed to offering over-the-air (OTA) updates to enhance performance and stability post-launch.
MOVA plans to reveal pricing details closer to the official release date. The new line of tools is set to roll out in spring 2026 across both North America and Europe, marking a significant step forward in cordless gardening technology. The innovative approach promises to streamline gardening tasks while ensuring users benefit from the latest advancements in outdoor tool design.
