Genshin Impact Unveils New Character Flins at Gamescom 2025

HoYoverse has announced the debut of a new character, Flins, in its popular game, Genshin Impact, during Gamescom 2025. This event marks the first offline booth experience for the game, introducing fans to the highly anticipated new region, Nod-Krai. The interactive booth will be open from August 20 to 24 at Hall 6, Booth C031 in the Koelnmesse event arena located in Cologne, Germany.
Now in its fifth year at Gamescom, Genshin Impact remains a major attraction for gaming enthusiasts worldwide. This year, the focus is on Nod-Krai, which serves as a pivotal area in the game’s annual expansion. The new region signals the beginning of an exciting chapter in the ongoing narrative of Teyvat, featuring both familiar characters and new factions. A special trailer, set to premiere at the event, showcases Flins, a Lightkeeper warrior who plays a crucial role in this storyline. The footage depicts his brave confrontation with the ominous Wild Hunt.
Attendees at Gamescom can immerse themselves in the experience of Nod-Krai through an engaging booth setup that features interactive challenges. Players will have the opportunity to assist Flins in his battle against the Wild Hunt. In addition to gameplay, the booth will host stage performances, cosplay events, and exclusive merchandise for fans. To further enhance the experience, HoYoverse will offer themed treats through a limited-edition HoYoverse Café menu, complemented by live band music to create a festive atmosphere.
For those unable to attend in person, Rocket Beans TV will provide live coverage directly from the show floor, allowing fans to stay connected with the latest developments. Players can also visit the Samsung booth in Hall 9 to test out the latest summer-themed content available on mobile, PC, and PlayStation 5.
With support from partners UGREEN and HOLY, HoYoverse aims to make Gamescom 2025 one of the most engaging showcases for Genshin Impact yet. The combination of new character reveals, interactive experiences, and live entertainment promises to captivate fans around the globe.
