Legacy of Love and Dedication

Kathryn was known for her unwavering support of others. Friends and family describe her as compassionate and empathetic, always prioritizing the needs of those around her. Her warm spirit and generous heart endeared her to many, making her a cherished figure in her community.

A proud academic achiever, Kathryn was inspired by her relatives, Zia Lorraine and Zio Peter, to pursue a career in law. After earning her undergraduate degree from the University of Western Ontario, she continued her education at Michigan State University and the University of Ottawa, culminating in a Juris Doctor degree.

It was during her time at university that she met Kevin, and the couple married in 2012, building a life together in Ottawa. Kathryn’s greatest pride came from her roles as a mother and wife, as she encouraged her daughters to grow into strong, independent young women.

Marie, where she spent time with loved ones, creating memories filled with laughter and warmth. The holiday season held special significance for her, as she loved celebrating with family, sharing meals, and gifting thoughtful presents.

The family expresses deep gratitude to all who supported Kathryn through her illness. Their heartfelt thanks extend to Dr. Mark Murphy and the medical teams at Toronto General Hospital, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, and The Ottawa Hospital, whose care and compassion were invaluable during her treatment.
