Whitcomb, known for his hit songs “Quitter” and “Gasoline and Matches,” has quickly captured the attention of Canadian music fans. His accolades at the CCMAs reflect his rapid rise within the industry, particularly following his stint as a contestant on American Idol.

The James Barker Band won the award for Group of the Year, and Owen Riegling was recognized with Album of the Year for “Bruce County (From the Beginning).”
