The DeKalb County Retired Teachers Association is set to convene on November 11, 2023, at the Oak Crest dining room located at 2944 Greenwood Acres in DeKalb. The meeting will commence at 11:00 hours and aims to bring together retired educators from the region.

This month’s featured speaker is Matt Stark, a dietician affiliated with Hy-Vee. His presentation will focus on nutrition and wellness, offering valuable insights for attendees aiming to maintain a healthy lifestyle post-retirement. Following the presentation, a buffet will be served, with a cost of $19 per person.

Attendance is encouraged for all retired teachers, as this gathering presents an opportunity not only for learning but also for socializing with peers. Registration is mandatory and must be completed by November 6, 2023. Interested individuals can secure their spot by calling 815-895-5494.
