Windsor Man Wins $50,000 in Split the Pot Lottery
A resident of Windsor has emerged as one of the early bird winners in the Split the Pot Lottery, taking home a remarkable cheque for $50,000. Michael G. received the award on Thursday, marking the largest cash early bird prize ever offered by the lottery.
Supporting Local Hospitals
The Split the Pot Lottery supports over 80 hospitals across Ontario, including the Windsor Regional Hospital (WRH). Each ticket sold contributes to crucial funding for these institutions. Participants have the option to direct their contributions either to Ontario hospitals collectively or to a specific facility, such as WRH.
The funds generated from this lottery play a vital role in acquiring essential medical equipment and technologies. At Windsor Regional Hospital, proceeds will help finance a range of needs, including a state-of-the-art 3D digital mammography machine, as well as critical cardiology and diagnostic equipment.
The final deadline for this month’s draw is set for November 26, 2023, at 11:59 p.m., with the draw scheduled for the following day. As the lottery continues to gain traction, many participants hope to join the ranks of winners like Michael G., while also contributing to the betterment of healthcare in their communities.
With the growing popularity of the Split the Pot Lottery, the potential for further winners and increased support for local hospitals remains strong, making it a significant initiative for residents across Ontario.
