The DeKalb County Retired Teachers Association is set to convene on November 11, 2023, for a meeting aimed at retired educators from the region. This gathering will take place at the Oak Crest dining room, located at 2944 Greenwood Acres, DeKalb, starting at 11:00 a.m.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from Matt Stark, a dietician from Hy-Vee, who is the featured speaker for the month. His insights are expected to provide valuable information for retired teachers, particularly concerning health and nutrition.

Following the presentation, a buffet meal will be offered for participants at a cost of $19. The association encourages all retired teachers to attend and reconnect with their peers in the community.
