The DeKalb County Retired Teachers Association will convene on November 11, 2023, for a meeting aimed at retired educators in the region. This event will take place at the Oak Crest dining room, located at 2944 Greenwood Acres, DeKalb, starting at 11 a.m..

This month’s gathering features Matt Stark, a dietician from Hy-Vee, as the keynote speaker. Stark is expected to share insights on nutrition and health, which may be particularly relevant for the retired teaching community. Following the presentation, attendees can enjoy a buffet meal for a fee of $19.

Retired teachers are encouraged to participate, as this meeting offers an excellent opportunity for social interaction and continued learning. Registration is mandatory and must be completed by November 6. Interested individuals can register by calling 815-895-5494.
