The Comox Valley Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) are appealing to the public for assistance in locating a missing senior, Elizabeth Phillipson, who is 79 years old. She was reported missing on the morning of November 7, 2025, after being last seen in the 100 block of Willow Way in Comox. Concerns for her safety have prompted an active search by police, family, and friends.

Elizabeth Phillipson was last spotted at approximately 9:10 a.m. wearing a distinctive pink or orange sweater or jacket paired with brown pants. Given her age, authorities believe she may be confused and disoriented, heightening the urgency of the situation.

Anyone who has seen Elizabeth or has any information about her whereabouts is urged to contact the Comox Valley RCMP at 250-338-1321. If you encounter her, police request that you remain with her or keep her in sight while immediately notifying the authorities.

The RCMP emphasizes the importance of community involvement in such cases, highlighting that timely information can significantly aid in ensuring the safety of vulnerable individuals.
