The Pozzebon family is heartbroken following the passing of their baby girl, Lilly-Jo Pozzebon, who died on September 4, 2025, at just four months old. In a touching tribute, her parents, Brittany-Anne Agliani and Nicholas Pozzebon, expressed their deep love and sorrow for their daughter, fondly known as “Little Lil,” “Lillybug,” and “Lil’Jo.”

Lilly-Jo’s brief time on earth was filled with love and joy, as highlighted by her mother. “Doesn’t it just melt your heart how much your babies love you?” Agliani reflected on August 10, 2025. The family cherished every moment, from sleepy smiles to family gatherings, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Celebrating a Short Yet Meaningful Life

Despite her short life, Lilly-Jo made a profound impact on her family. She was the adored sister of Evie and a beloved granddaughter to Sally and Joe Agliani, along with Polly and Frank Pozzebon. The family emphasized their gratitude for the time they spent together, filled with laughter, music, and love. “We have happy memories to last us a lifetime,” they shared, expressing their hope that Lilly-Jo would be watching over them.

The family invites friends and loved ones to join them for a visitation on September 12, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel, located at 492 Wellington St. East. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 PM, officiated by Fr. Trevor Scarfone and Rev. Helen Smith. Lilly-Jo will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery in Prince Township.

Community Support and Memorial Contributions

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Sault Area Hospital – Pediatric Unit or Northern Critters in Need. These donations can be made via cheque or online, providing support to organizations that reflect the family’s commitment to caring for others.

The Pozzebon family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the pediatric team at Sault Area Hospital, particularly recognizing the efforts of Dr. Moreau, Dr. Chamberlain, and nurses Leslie, Kassandra, Erica, Penny, and Leanne for their compassionate care during Lilly-Jo’s brief life.

As the Pozzebon family navigates their grief, they hold onto the love and memories shared with Lilly-Jo, hoping for comfort in knowing she is now cradled in the arms of angels.
